＊受難節（レント）の時を歩んでいます。私たちのために主イエス・キリストが御苦しみを受け、死なれ、私たちを罪から贖ってくださったことをおぼえ、悔い改めと感謝をもってイースター（4月12日）までの時を歩みましょう。
＊台風19号の被災者・被災教会のために祈りを合わせましょう。支援募金にご協力ください。受付の募金箱にお入れください。
＊病床の方や礼拝を長期に渡り、欠席されている方々のことをおぼえて祈りましょう。
☆御言葉に聞く☆
「本人が罪を犯したからでも、両親が罪を犯したからでもない。神の業がこの人に現れるためである。」（ヨハネによる福音書9章3節）と主イエスは語られた。私たちは過去の過ち、失敗を悔い、現在の自分の苦しみは過去の罪（自分あるいは先祖の）から来ると思われていた。人間は本来罪の故に滅びる存在であった。主イエス・キリストは罪と死（滅び）の因果関係を断ち切られた。私たちの代わりに私たちの罪を担い、十字架で贖ってくださった。主イエス・キリストは私たちを贖われることによって、私たちを「神の栄光を現わす存在」としてくださったのである。私たちの努力で神様の栄光を現わすのではない。神様が私たちのうちに働いてくださるのである。神様が私たちを用いてくださる。私たちの間に働いてくださり、救いの業を示してくださる神様を私たちは仰ぎ、証するのである。
